Every frame starts as a drawing.

It hangs at full scale at the end of the line. Every tube is cut to it, and every finished frame is laid on it before paint.

Forty cells, welded on our line.

The battery slides out of the down tube and charges indoors. When one cell ages we replace that cell, not the pack.

Ride one before you buy.

A 45-minute loop from the factory gate, along the harbour and over two bridges. It is free, and a mechanic sets the bike up for you first.

The loop: 11.8 km with 16 m of climbing, all of it on the two bridges.

Questions

How far does it go on one charge?

The Quay goes 60 to 110 km, the Barge 50 to 90 km, depending on the assist level, the load, the wind and how often you stop. A full charge takes about five hours.

Can I ride it in the rain?

Yes. The motor, battery and connectors are sealed, the belt does not rust and the hub gear is closed. Store it indoors in winter if you can.

How fast does the motor help?

Up to 25 km/h, the limit for a pedelec in the EU. Above that you ride on your own legs, which on a flat quay is easy.

Who services it?

We do, at the factory, for the first two years at no charge. After that, any bike shop can work on the hub gear, brakes and belt.

Do you deliver outside the Netherlands?

To Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, ready to ride, in a van with one of our mechanics. Elsewhere in the EU we ship boxed with the bar turned.
